Yingman Tang is a PhD student in Theatre Studies at the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign. She holds both a BFA and MFA in Lighting Design and has directed Death Variations and co-directed the Tagore Festival: Red Oleanders and The Land of Cards. Her lighting design credits include Urinetown, The Wild Party, and The Royale.
Her current research explores the intersection of AI and theatre. She previously served as dramaturg for The Algorithm. Yingman is also the President of the Chinese American Association of Central Illinois (CAACI), supporting cultural engagement in the local community.
MaryRose Jones is a MA student in Theatre Studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She holds a BA in Theatre and Performance Studies. She has previously dramaturged The Moors and Into the Woods at Millikin University, and served as a dramaturgy intern for Santa Cruz Shakespeare's Book of Will.
Her current research explores performance in the Early Modern England, particularly looking at how queenship is performed.
Zhi Li is an undergraduate with a double major in Theatre Studies and English at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She has previously dramaturged Rope at Amory Free Theatre and is currently the dramaturg for Urbana Free Library's fairy tale ball. She's interested in early modern theatre, with a focus on the labour and labouring class. She extends her heartfelt thanks to her family, teachers, and friends, both here and back in her home China, for their unwavering support of her artistic journey.
