To ensure the safety of all students and comply with the University of Illinois’ strict protection of minors policy, no adults will be allowed inside the State Farm Center unless they are registered, credentialed volunteers and assigned to a work location in pairs.

Please note the following:

• All adults inside the building during judging must be actively working and paired with another volunteer.

• Adults who are not working or not in pairs will be asked to leave by security.

• If you know a volunteer cannot fulfill their duties, please notify us in advance with the name and session so we can make adjustments.

• Volunteers who register but fail to report to their assigned location will be added to a “do not volunteer” list for next year.

This policy applies to all adults, including IJAS Board members, sponsors, and family members. No one is exempt. We are required to provide the university with a complete list of all adult volunteers, their assigned locations, and their partners for each session.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all participants.
