MODE OF LEARNING AND TEACHING

KULLIYYAH OF ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT SCIENCES

SEMESTER 1 2021/2022

Assalamu'alaikum wbt.

Dear KENMS community,

Semester 1 2021/2022 will begin on 4th October 2021.

KENMS is cognizant of the importance of in-person presence on campus for an impactful transformative education process. However, to find a balance between hifz al-nafs and hifz-al 'aql, the mode of learning and teaching for Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences for Semester 1, 2021/2022 is Remote Teaching and Learning (RTL).

As classes will be on RTL mode, students are not required to return to campus for the moment.

For students who intend and needed to return to campus, you can put a request to return to campus through i-ma’luum starting from 20th September 2021.

You are advised to refer to "IIUM OFFICIAL GUIDELINE FOR CAMPUS REOPENING 01/2021" released by IIUM Sejahtera Council for reference on returning to campus and campus reopening.

You are also encouraged to get your vaccinations, as vaccination has shown to reduce morbidity and mortality due to COVID-19 and, to some extent, lower the transmission rate.
