The Light of Al-Kahfi
The event will take place physically in CELPAD Sejahtera Garden and CELPAD Foyer in front of TEMU Office, on the first Friday of every month.
The objective of the programme is to internalise one of the sunnahs of our holy prophet as prescribed in the hadith:
مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَةَ الْكَهْفِ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ أَضَاءَ لَهُ مِنَ النُّورِ مَا بَيْنَ الْجُمُعَتَيْنِ
“Whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on Friday will have a light (guidance in his life) between this Friday and the next.” (al-Sunan al-Kubrá 5856)
Reviving My Iman
The purposes are to increase our knowledge of the Qur’an and Islam, to strengthen our iman and to build the ukhuwwah among CELPAD staff.
This usrah circle consists three different group session. The details are as follows:
1) RTAR
Reading tafseer and discussing linguistic matters in Arabic.
2) MTRQ
Makhraj huruf, Tajwid and Recitation of the Qur’an.
3) MQT
Membaca Al-Qur’an dan Terjemahan.
Tazkirah of the Day
Basic Beliefs of Islam
Dr. Musharraf Hussain introduces the basic beliefs of Islam and explores the belief (iman) with Dr. Jon Hoover. This is the first in a series of videos examining Muslim belief in God, Angels, Books, Prophets, the Last Day and Predestination, particularly from a Sunni perspective, taking the creed of al-Nasafi and the Ash'ari and Maturidi theological traditions as references.
Kalam of the Day
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Amr:
Once the Prophet (ﷺ) remained behind us in a journey. He joined us while we were performing ablution for the prayer which was over-due. We were just passing wet hands over our feet (and not washing them properly) so the Prophet (ﷺ) addressed us in a loud voice and said twice or thrice: "Save your heels from the fire."
