Sustainable agriculture (SA) is an agriculture practice that able to provide food at the present needs without compromising the needs of the future generation. The SA activities must be able to provide the need of society and bring economic profitability as well as maintaining a healthy environment. It is contradicting to the commercial agricultural practice where mass production was produced using mechanization, chemical pesticide and fertilizer, and at the same time has caused the topsoil degradation and ground-water contamination, health degradation among the society members and farm-workers, water depletion, and finally increase the farming cost gradually.
