I see myself as a researcher who strongly believes in the power of interdisciplinary science to tackle the toughest challenges we face today. With a specialization in the exciting fields of biotechnology and nanotechnology, my research is primarily focused at the intersection of these two disciplines.
Over the past seven years, I have explored the exciting potential of nanomaterials in the fields of cancer therapy and diagnostics. This journey has involved extensive training and hands-on experience in a wide range of techniques and procedures, encompassing nanomaterial synthesis, characterization, in vitro and in vivo studies, as well as pre-clinical imaging modalities. My fascination with nanotechnology sparked my research endeavors in developing multifunctional nanomaterials, including polymeric, metallic, and composite nanomaterials. These materials typically serve as the building blocks for the creation of stimuli-responsive controlled drug delivery systems for cancer therapy, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. I strongly believe that by bringing together the potential of nanotechnology and biotechnology, we can revolutionize the way we diagnose and treat diseases, leading to better patient outcomes and improved quality of life.
