I have had the opportunity to teach a wide range of courses across various academic levels and institutions.
During my Ph.D. at IIT Bombay, I served as a Teaching Assistant (TA) for several M.Sc. courses. I also taught undergraduate and postgraduate Statistics courses at the Department of Statistics, Kumaun University. Since January 2018, I have been offering core and elective courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at IIT Tirupati. In addition, I have conducted courses for Ph.D. coursework, refresher programs, and orientation modules.
While my teaching philosophy continues to evolve, my experiences have helped me refine my approach. One key challenge I initially faced was addressing the diverse academic backgrounds of students within a single classroom. Over time, I have learned to adapt my teaching style to cater to varying learning needs.
I strongly believe in fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment. As Prof. Richard Feynman once said:
"Students don't need a perfect teacher. Students need a happy teacher, who's going to make them excited to come to class and grow a love for learning."
I strive to nurture curiosity and enthusiasm, going beyond the delivery of information to ignite a genuine interest in the subject.
