Cynosure, the prestigious annual research symposium of the Department of Mathematics, IIT Ropar, is being hosted for the first time by Sankhya, the institute’s mathematics club. It aims to provide an opportunity for the young researchers to learn more about the state-of-the-art research and trends in the field of Mathematics and allied areas. The symposium provides an opportunity to meet with some of the prominent and distinguished mathematicians and academicians of India and discuss their research interests with them. The aim of the symposium is to motivate young students and academicians towards research in mathematics.
Cynosure under Sankhya’s administration promises to carry forward its legacy of excellence. With its focus on innovation and collaboration, Sankhya endeavors to make this edition of Cynosure a truly enriching experience, motivating participants to explore new frontiers in mathematical research.
