Motion Capture System
We have a Qualisys Motion Capture (MoCap) system which comprises of 10 infrared cameras capable of operation with active and passive markers. We perform experiments of automatic control algorithms on robots on this system.
Robots
Khepera IV
Khepera IV is a differential drive robot designed and manufactured by K-Team for indoor experiments. It has various features such as embedded Linux core, color camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB Host, accelerometer, gyroscope and many more.
Crazyflie 2.1
Crazyflie 2.1 is a mini drone designed and manufactured by Bitcraze. It can be controlled autonomously or manually by PC or smartphone. It is compatible with ROS enabling us to operate a swarm of these and implement complex autonomatic control algorithms.
Pixhawk Drones
Pixhawk drones are advanced unmanned aerial systems powered by the open-source Pixhawk flight controller, widely used in research, industry, and hobbyist applications. They offer high flexibility, precise navigation, and support for autonomous missions, making them a popular choice for both professional and experimental drone projects.
Turtlebot 4
TurtleBot 4 is a modern, ROS 2-based mobile robot platform designed for research, education, and prototyping. Equipped with advanced sensors, modular hardware, and seamless integration with the Robot Operating System, it provides an accessible yet powerful foundation for developing and testing robotics applications.
