- The Biotechnology Department accepts applications for PhD admissions twice a year, tentatively in April-May and July-August. The details are updated in advance in the IITH home page. Candidates with JRF/DST-INSPIRE in Life Sciences or Chemistry or Bioinformatics/Computation are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with Bachelor degree in Engineering/Technology or Master degree (MSc) in any allied area of Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics or Chemistry possessing a valid GATE score may also considered for PhD admission. However admission is subjected to availability of Institute fellowship.
- Postdoctoral candidate: I may assist the candidate to submit the proposal for the fellowship to DBT/DST/UGC.
- Do not call me for an internship, if any internship vacancy in my lab will be announced here.
