Circulation: Borrow, Return, Renew, Reserve.

Borrowing Materials

The library offers general access to its collection as well as a comprehensive variety of borrowing services. These services include the circulation of materials from the circulating collections, checking in returned materials, and shelving of reading materials. The library's circulation staff will also assist you with making reservation and recall requests on materials that have been given out, as well as locating things in the stack area and dealing with related issues.

Circulation Policies

Reading materials can be borrowed by the Institute's faculty, researchers, students, and staff. When academics and staff join the Institute, they are automatically registered to utilize the library's facilities and services, as are students when they register for academic programs. The regulations are designed to encourage and assist, rather than restrict, the use of library collections and services.

Memberships

Internal membership is the primary group of users served by the library. Faculty, students, and staff are the principal users of the library; there is no price to enroll in and utilize the services. The borrowing privileges for each of these member types are listed below.
