Visibility, Discovery and  Impact of Research

It is important to make the research work visible and discoverable by other researchers in order to increase citations, networking, collaborations, and, ultimately, impact. The Library team makes every effort to collaborate closely with the Institute's faculty and researchers, and extends its expertise and support in the following ways.

• Assistance in creating author IDs and profiles on platforms such as ORCiD, IRINS, and Google Scholars. This provides a persistent digital identifier that you own and control, and that distinguishes you from every other researcher.  

• Create your profile and keep it up-to-date to increase the visibility of your reserach with the use of  Academic Social Networks such as LinkedIn, ResearchGate, Academia.edu, and others.
