137 Inverse organized an outreach event for students of grades 9th, 10th and 11th, from schools in Berhampur.

The central goal of PIP had been to give a hands-on introduction to python and expose the students to its application (or rather necessity) in various areas of physics.

On Day 1, the students were taught the basics of python language, starting from scratch and going all the way up to Functions and Plots.

On Day 2, they were taught about recursion and algorithmic thinking.

This was followed by:

1) A demonstration of one of the powerful A.I. models called GPT-3 by open-AI and how it captures the natural language.

2) Application of python as a simple tool for reading and cleaning astronomical FITS images.
