It was a debate competition where the participants had to pair up in a team and affirm their ideas and defend them in front of audience and judges. The event was judged by two of our faculty members and the event was attended by over 20 students of the institute.
It was an evening-long Debate Competition held on 3rd April 2022. There were seven participations each having a team of two. The event was judged by two of our faculty members on the basis of the team's oration skills, answering questions from the audience and other participants.

Topics included general science cum social issues-
Nations should cut down expenditure on armed forces and military and should invest in STEM research and studies instead.
Technology (tablets, laptops, cell phones, smartboards, etc.) should completely replace books because the manufacture of paper leads to cutting down a large number of trees.
Artificial intelligence is going to become more of a bane than a boon to humanity in the upcoming years of technological advancement.
Out of 7 teams, 3 best teams were selected along with the best speakers and participants who answered effectively, by the Judges.
