IISER Bhopal is located 11 Km from Raja Bhoj International Airport, Bhopal. One could hire an Ola/Uber to reach IISER. Local Autos charge around 200 rupees for a one-way ride.

IISER-Bhopal is 21 km from Bhopal junction and 27 km from Rani Kamlapati (Habibganj) Junction. The Sant Hirdaram Nagar (SHRN) railway station (Bairagargh) is 9 Km away, but longer route trains do not serve this station. One Could hire an Ola/Uber from all these stations. The local autos charge around 200 from Sant Hirdaram station, 400 from Bhopal station, and 500 from Rani Kamplapati.

One could catch Bus no. 204 (Red) from anywhere in Bhopal and reach IISER Bhopal. 

The Bus shuttles between IISER, Bhopal and Mandideep, covering Lal-Ghati (close to Sant Hirdaram station) and Rani Kamlapati Station (Habibganj). 

The approximate charges are Rs.400 (auto) and Rs.450 (taxi) for Railway Station-IISERB; Rs.200 (auto) and Rs.300-350 (taxi) for IISER-Airport. OLA and UBER are also available in Bhopal.
