Open Positions:
There are three project positions available in the lab right now.
All remunerations will be based on IISc guidelines. Interested individuals are required to send in their resumes and contact information of two referees to prosenjits@iisc.ac.in.
Project manager: An individual with a Ph.D. in relevant Engineering or Physical Sciences. The individual will be responsible for leading the technology development. The individual will be responsible for meeting project goals and timelines. The individual will coordinate day-to-day activities with the team. As and when required the individual will also prepare relevant reports and presentations. The following skill sets are required.
Experience in microscale device fabrication is a must
Development of complex experimental and fabrication setups is a must
Experience in setting up optical experiments is an added bonus
Experience in designing and developing board-level electronics is a bonus
A basic understanding of quantum mechanics will be helpful
Project Staff (Device Fabrication): An individual with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant Engineering or Physical Sciences. The individual will be responsible for fabricating and packaging the MEMS devices. Prior experience in microfabrication techniques is a bonus. A good source of information on fabrication techniques is available at https://archive.nptel.ac.in/courses/117/108/102108078/. Physical characterization of the fabricated devices will also be the individual’s responsibility.
