Returning Officer

Dr. Vivek Sharma, Chief Innovation Officer (CIO), IIM Jammu is the Returning Officer (RO) for the Elections of Alumni Member position in Executive Committee (EC) of IIM Jammu Alumni Association (IIMJAA).

Following are the Roles and Responsibilities of the Returning Officer.

1.     Conducts the election process

2.     Ensures free and fair elections          

3.     Maintains neutrality, transparency and compliance

4.     Verifies nominations  

5.     Scrutiny of nominations and eligibility checks

6.     Supervises polling and counting        

7.     Monitors execution and safeguards integrity

8.     Declares results officially       

9.     Final authority for authentication

The Returning Officer will report to the Chairman, Governing Body of IIM Jammu Alumni Association (IIMJAA).
