Nomination

Nomination is closed on 18th Novemeber 2025.

Nominations are open for the 7 Alumni Member positions on the Executive Committee (EC) of IIM Jammu Alumni Association (IIMJAA). Please refer to the Executive Committee page (click here)  to know more about the Roles and Responsibilities of Alumni Executive Committee (EC).

Nomination process includes the following 3 essential steps:

1. Alumni who want to Nominate a Candidate for the Executive Committee Elections as Proposer or Seconder are requested to fill the following form: https://forms.gle/wEvmbthMzQ15YufHA

2. Alumni Candidate for the Executive Committee Elections are requested to fill the following form for their consent and declaration: https://forms.gle/dF9qWX24RvBk4zus5

Guidelines

1. An alumni should nominate a candidate for a position on Executive Committee by submitting the Nomination Form. The candidate and the nominators must be an eligible IIM Jammu Degree holderAlumni.

2. There should be five (5) such nominator alumni who shall individually submit the Nomination Form, to nominate (propose and second) a candidate for a particular position.

3. The Consent Form should be duly filled and submitted by the candidate intending to contest in the election for any position within the IIM Jammu Alumni Association Executive Committee.    The candidate should fill the names and basic details of the five (5) alumni nominators (proposers/seconders) in support of their candidature.

4. The candidates are also required to fill a separate form to submit their documents for verification purpose.

5. The timeline for completing Nomination, Consent and Documents submission is November 17, 2025, 11:00 pm (Second Revision); failing which, the candidature shall be deemed invalid and shall not be considered for scrutiny.

6. Nomination is closed, except for Joint Secretary - East. Residence condition is relaxed. Time line November 18, 2025, 2:00pm.

Eligibility

1. 1. Only the degree (MBA, MBA HA & HM, EMBA, PhD, BBA, etc.) holder alumni are eligible as candidate, and for nominating a candidate as Nominator (Proposer / Seconder)..

   2.  An Executive Alumni (who did short term certificate program) can not be a candidate or nominate a candidate. These Alumni have other professional networking benefits.

   3. Eligibility criteria specific to Alumni Executive Committee (EC) positions are given in the table below.
