Election Manifesto

Election Manifesto Clause

All candidates whose names appear in the List of Candidates published on the official website of the Committee/Body shall be required to submit an Election Manifesto. This Manifesto shall clearly set out the candidate’s proposed initiatives, commitments, and intended actions in the event that they are duly elected to office.

The Manifesto submitted by each candidate shall be:

1. Filed within the prescribed timeline as communicated by the Election Committee, i.e. (Deadline 21-11-2025 6:00 PM)

2. Circulated to all batches for their information, enabling the electorate to make an informed voting decision.

3. Maintained as an official record by the Election Committee and preserved in its archives for purposes of transparency, accountability, and future reference.

Failure to submit the Manifesto within the stipulated period may result in the rejection of candidature or such other action as deemed appropriate by the Election Committee under the governing rules.

The Manifesto shall form part of the official election documentation and the elected candidate shall be morally and administratively accountable to strive toward the commitments set forth therein, subject to the rules, regulations, and limitations governing the functioning of the IIM Jammu Alumni Association
