IRINS is a web-based Research Information Management (RIM) service developed by the Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) Centre. The portal facilitates academic and R&D organizations, as well as faculty members and scientists, to collect, curate, and showcase their scholarly communication activities, providing an opportunity to create a scholarly network. IRINS is available as a free software-as-a-service to academic and R&D organizations in India.
IRINS supports integration with existing research management systems such as HR systems, course management, grant management systems, institutional repositories, open and commercial citation databases, and scholarly publishers. It has integrated academic identities like ORCID ID, ScopusID, Research ID, ORCID, and Google Scholar ID for ingesting scholarly publications from various sources.
The Library and Information Center is officially managing the IIIT Pune instance of IRINS.
Dr. Anagha Uday Khiste is the official IRINS Nodal Officer from IIIT Pune.
