The Junior Technician (Library) at IIIT Pune plays a vital technical and administrative role in the management of the Library & Information Center, actively fostering the institute's academic and research ecosystems. Working in close coordination with the Faculty In-Charge, the postholder manages physical and digital collections, coordinates advanced bibliographic database searches, and curates core digital platforms including Koha (ILMS), the IdP Remote Access Server, and the IRINS research profiling portal, Shodhganga, Shodhsuddhi, ONOS and other initiatives of INFLIBNET, Plagiarism Detection Software services etc.

Crucially, this professional serves as the administrative Member-Secretary for the Library Advisory, Purchase, and Stock Verification Committees. To meet diverse institutional requirements, this role also encompasses broader academic administrative duties, and supporting periodically scheduled institutional events and activities.
