RSD 2020

Research Scholars, day in the year of 2020 held on 28-02-2020 and it was inaugurated by Prof. Banshidhar Majhi, Director, IIITDM in the presence of Prof. S P Venkateshan and Prof. S. Narayanan. Four delegates had been invited as keynote speakers from industrial and academic sectors. First Dr. Sankarvenugopal, Vice President, Mahindra & Mahindra, Chennai delivered the information about new vehicle design and the importance of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in industrial sectors. Followed a talk by Dr. Srinivasan Gopalakrishnan, Professor, IISc Bangalore who delivered informations about structural failures analyzed through wave technology especially defects occurred in concrete bridges. Third talk was by Dr. Dheepa Srinivasan from pratt and whitney. She explored the importance of additive manufacturing in the field of aerospace sectors. The morning session ends with these talks. During the afternoon session, Dr.C.Balaji, Professor, IIT Madras explored the importance ofresearch and the kind of qualities to be possessed by a research scholar during their journey for Ph.D. in his talk.
