RSD 2018

The first research scholars’ day of IIITDM Kancheepuram was held on 19th April, 2018. The inauguration was presided over by Prof. Banshidhar Majhi, Director, IIITDM. During the inaugural talk, Prof. S P Venkateshan, Prof. S. Narayanan, and Dr. Narayanan T S spoke on the importance of research and suggested systematic approach to conduct research to the scholars. A plenary talk was given by Prof. S. Karmalkar (Dept. of EE, IITM) on Engineering Problem Solving and the talk was followed by poster presentation session. 19 scholars of the institute presented their research works and the posters were evaluated by the chief guests and the faculty committee. Post lunch, Dr. Saurabh Saxena (Dept. of EE, IITM) delivered an expert lecture on Recent trends in IC design and Applications. The event concluded after taking oral feedback from the research scholars and the research scholar of the year was awarded based on the poster presentation.
