J-1 Teacher Prescreen Form

As a U.S. Department of State-designated Exchange Visitor Program sponsor, IIEEX will provide J-1 visa sponsorship to a foreign educator to pursue full-time paid teaching positions at an accredited qualifying school in the U.S. IIEEX will be responsible for overseeing the entire program and for making sure that the program is in compliance with the U.S. Department of State’s visa requirements and regulations. Sponsors are required to provide a system to screen and select prospective foreign teachers to ensure that they are eligible for program participation based on qualifications and also based on who can make a contribution to the education of students in the United States and who want to learn U.S. teaching methods (as per 22 CFR § 62.24).
