College Counselling at IICS

Secondary Counsellor Introduction

Dear IICS learners,

My name is Michelle Mi, and I am delighted to work at IICS as a College Counsellor. In this position, I look forward to creating a supportive counseling environment for our learners regarding their post-secondary pathways.

I moved to Istanbul with my husband and our eleven-year-old son, who is also enrolled in IICS as a seventh grader. Before Turkey, I worked as a University and Careers Guidance Counselor at international schools in Zambia, Bangladesh, and my home country, China. I cherish the opportunity to join the IICS community and explore the country.

As an educator, I always believe all learners are unique and have the potential to become lifelong learners, especially in a friendly and welcoming place. I look forward to a great year!

Kind regards,

Michelle Mi
