August  26         SAT 

August-September        Provide teachers writing LoRs with the LoR Request Form and resume. 

      Individual meeting with your College Counsellor.

September 8-9 ACT

September 19         Grade 12 Higher Education Session for students and parents.

September 22 Oxford/Cambridge/UK medicine & dentistry applications are due. - Internal deadline

September 30 Final list of 5 - 10 schools due.

September-November   Meet with university representatives

  Revise essays and/or personal statements

Complete applications

October 6 All ED/EA/EASC applications and teacher LoRs due - Internal deadline

October  7         SAT 

October 27-28 ACT

November 30                 Internal deadline for U.S., Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, the UK, the Netherlands

December 2 SAT (Not recommended if you apply to universities early.)

January - March  2024 Work hard and wait!

January-June 2024 Applications for European countries - check your deadlines.

December - April 2024 Decision notification 

May 2024 Reply date for most universities

September 19         G11 Higher Education Session for students and parents

September-April Meet with visiting college representatives.

October 11 PSAT

January Students complete the Grade 11 students' questionnaire.

January-August Continue to search colleges.

January-February Meet with your College Counsellor for the initial Grade 11 interview.

February 23-24 ACT

March Parents complete the Grade 11 parents' questionnaire.

March 9 SAT 

April Family Interview with College Counsellor 

April-May         Get a verbal agreement from teachers who will write reference letters for you.

Attend essay/personal statement writing workshops

April 12-13 ACT

May 4 SAT 

June 1 SAT

June 7-8         ACT

Summer Take the TOEFL/IELTS if you have been advised to do so. Visit Universities

Work on Essay/Personal Statement. Revise Resume. Internships.
