Round 5 CCA Sign-ups were held this week. Next week, you will receive a notice from Schools Buddy that confirms the CCAs your child will take part in and then CCAs will begin Monday, May 8. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact Nihan Onerli (Marmara CCA coordinator- nonerli@iics.k12.tr) or Burcu Ozden (Hisar CCA coordinator- bozden@iics.k12.tr).
Lost and Found is full at Hisar! Please take a look at this document and claim your items by emailing your homeroom teacher and Ms. Ayse. Any unclaimed items will be donated on Friday, May 12, 2023.
Save the date for the Grade 5 & 6 Spring Concert at the Marmara Campus!
As you may have already seen from Ms. Redmond’s Seesaw Announcement, the Hisar campus will need volunteers starting the week of May 8 to help with Young Author’s Day preparations. For about 4 weeks, we will need parent volunteers to come to Hisar Campus on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30 , Thursdays from 10:30-11:30, and/or Fridays 2:00-3:00 to help students make their book.
Please contact Desiree at ptavphisar@iics.k12.tr to express your interest. Please know, if you want to volunteer and those times do not work, just let Desiree know and we may be able to accommodate it.

KIDS DANCE WORKSHOP with BATUHAN PARLAK

Let’s enjoy the company of friends and dance along to Lady Gaga’s song Bloody Mary!
During this 1 hour workshop the kids will enjoy music and explore movement and dance in an entertaining and original way together with Batuhan. The class starts with a thorough warm up, followed by an easy choreography (thought step by step) and cool down time towards the end of the class.

PTA TOUR #7- PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS with NOEMIE DEVEAUX
Date: Thursdays May 11, and June 1
Time: 10:00-12:00 with possible lunch in the area
This is the first one in a series of Photography Workshops led by Noémie DEVEAUX, a freelance photographer living and working in İstanbul, well known for her family photography, photographic art and very phone-friendly photography lessons with her aim of teaching her students to develop a photographic eye. You may choose one of the 3 workshops planned or join them all.

KIDS ARTISAN CHOCOLATE WORKSHOP WITH ÖZGÜ SATIK

Enjoy this delicious and fun workshop with your friends from school!
The kids will discover the art of chocolate making with Özgü. Together they will prepare different types of chocolates and learn how to mix different flavours with chocolate to create luscious flavours. We will learn about the techniques of chocolate making and create our own chocolate boxes.
