Imperceptible by Nicole V.G.
I am imperceptible.
Have you ever had the feeling of wanting to be invisible?
To be unseen and go about your day being unbothered.
To avoid the bullies, the teachers from calling your name.
That is me imperceptible.
I can’t be seen, but I am known to everyone.
When someone steals your shoes, and somehow you find it on your porch the next morning.
The bank is being robbed, but cops arrive and the robbers are on the floor.
Again, that is me.
I am imperceptible.
Afraid of the unknown.
Afraid of being seen
Afraid what tomorrow will bring.
I am imperceptible.
I have no brand.
I have no costume.
It may not be the best power, but I try to help the best way I can.
