Rain by Jasmelly A.
One Friday afternoon I could hear the subtle
pounding of water droplets on the window, pop,
pop, pop...
With a cup of hot chocolate I sat next to the
window, closing my eyes I could hear the wind
hugging the leaves of the trees, ~ ffffffff ~...
In the midst of all the peace, I could hear small
thunders in the distance and, in turn, light up the
sky, plam, thunk…
When I opened my eyes I could enjoy the beauty
of a rainy day, Somehow these days have the
ability to reassure me…
A climate of singular beauty, very interesting ...
Whatever each thing is unique in its own way.
Commentary
Mr. Brendan: What inspired you to write this poem?
Jasmelly: I was listening to the sound of rain on YouTube for so long for inspiration.
