Prof. Lalita S Kumar is a Synthetic Organic Chemist having an experience of more than 31 years in the area of Open and Distance Learning. At IGNOU, she has been engaged in the design, development and maintenance of Distance teaching-learning materials. She has been awarded Institutional Gold medal for the Best Research Paper and for Innovation in Distance Education. She has an experience of teaching Organic Reaction Mechanism to three batches of M.Sc. (Chemistry) students in the face to face mode. She has a number of papers to her credit in the peer reviewed Journals of repute and has presented papers in International Conferences.
