Grade 5 learners use and reflect on their learning skills to communicate, self-manage, research, socialize and think about the PYPX process.
The IB Learner Profile attributes are the compass of who they children strive to be and how they want to act during as IB global citizens.
Throughout the entire PYPX process children have plenty opportunities for exercising their agency (voice, choice and ownership) by:
-finding and deciding on local and global issues they are passionate about
-creating their own central ideas, lines of inquiry and conceptual question that support their individual research
-deciding on and designing their learning products, experiences and action
Action is an essential component of the PYPX process. Our learners workshop different action pathways and design a variety of practical actions that have a positive impact on the local environment.
