Treat fellow participants, TAs, and speakers with respect.
Contribute equally to group assignments or tasks, and extend the same opportunity to your team members.
Respect the boundaries of other attendees.
Give everyone a chance to speak and offer their opinion.
Any derogatory remarks, personal attacks, sexist and ageist behaviour, and any reference to another participant’s appearance or identity.
Being disruptive, interrupting, or heckling a participant, TA, or speaker.
Sexual harassment of any kind, including unwelcome sexual attention and inappropriate contact.
Invasion of privacy (e.g. taking photos/requesting selfies/making virtual requests to access personal social media accounts of people you do not know, without consent).
Showing up intoxicated to the training, stalking, or threatening anyone.
All participants are expected to contribute to group tasks. Do not schedule meetings/long calls during the event/training.
Reach out to CLEAR/J-PAL staff if you need to be excused on medical or other personal grounds. Do not leave the training sessions without prior notice.
In case you feel like you have been involved in or have witnessed a violation of our code of conduct, we encourage you to speak with your TA and/or any member of the organising team immediately.
CLEAR/J-PAL South Asia at IFMR will investigate all incidents reported at a training/event with discretion and confidentiality. Complaints will be attended to swiftly, after which steps for redressal will be relayed to the complainant.
CLEAR/J-PAL South Asia at IFMR reserves the right to bar any person who violates our Code of Conduct from attending this training/event in entirety or in part, and/or to bar said person from attending future CLEAR/J-PAL South Asia at IFMR events.
