  • Cars, lorries, buses, motorbikes,... all of them move by themselves. It's another word for "car".
  • You use this to pay.
  • Four legs and one long piece of wood on them. You can use it to eat, to work. I'm sure you have one in your sitting-room.

CURIOSITIES:

The existence of two words for the larger FARM ANIMALS in Modern English is a result of the class divisions established by the Norman Conquest. There are the words for the living animals (for instance, cow, pig and sheep) which had their origins in Anglo-Saxon, and the words for the meat of the animals (beef, pork, mutton) which have their origins in the French language that the Normans brought to England.
