Alfonso I

This year 2021 is the 900th anniversary of the foundation of our village by the king Alfonso I the Battler. We considered that we couldn't obviate this event, so knowing the historical significance of this king was a must. The biography of Alfonso I allowed a complementary and nearby vision to this project because, after knowing the frame and the historical context for their castles, we could discover the context, reason and significance of some simmilar buildings in our area and some impressive siege weapons.

The students read the book King of Kings, edited by Caballeros de Exea and the summed it up in the form of vignettes, from the book's own illustrations.
