Room 23 in the third-year hallway was always locked. Students at IES El Picarral always said, “What is inside that room?” because nobody knew what was behind the door.
Some old students said that, many years ago, something happened during a science class. They said there was an accident, but no one knew what exactly. Students think something exploded inside, others said they had heard noises when no one was there.
But one day, after many years, one student Called Montoya finally got inside. He found a key in the concierge's office while trying to look for a basketball. He said “that the room was full of old things, like science materials, papers, and a broken chair”. He also said “It was dark, a little scary, and noises were heard”.
Still, many students think something is weird. One girl said, “Maybe the school is hiding something”. But teachers only say the room is not used anymore. But the directors say nothing more.
THE REVOLUTION FROM STUDENTS
AGAINST THE TEACHERS
The incredible event that happened at school.
It happened last week, on the IES el picarral, Zaragoza.
When the teachers said that they wouldn't change the exam and assigned a lot of homework, the students suggested: “if we mustn't sleep in class we shouldn't do homeworks at home”.
3°B was the class that started it all. On Monday students began planning their revolution and on afternoon Monday they went to buy cardboard and markers in case one.
What started the revolution was on Wednesday when French's teacher decided to do 4 tests in two weeks and oral expositions.
It lasted until Friday, on Thursday they put posters all over the school and someones didn't come to class. On Friday they were the worst, students broke windows and drew doors.

It was a group of four students named Lucía, Reyes, Antonia and Sonia, who found that mysterious door in the assembly hall.
They had class first thing in the morning but the teacher didn't show up.
As they were gossip girls, they decided to investigate while telling anecdotes that had happened years before in the same place.
And an electric guitar sounded in the room. They tried to enter and felt that someone was blocking them from the other side, then a distorted voice said: “OUT”, and they ran out.
After that day, no one has opened that door

14 may 2025 a horrendous thing happened at the highschool IES el Picarral , the ceiling fell off , being a threat to the safety of the students.

The day of the accident the students of the second year, eso, were walking in the hallway to their chemistry class in the lab, when suddenly they heard strange noises coming from the ceiling. Someone screamed “watch out!” And they ran off the place.
The people involved were the 3rd year ESO students who were studying technology, looking at the lamp cables when it came loose.
It was a miracle, because a second later the ceiling was off on the floor. No one was hurt , but the students were very scared.
We could talk with one of the students that was walking, Adriana Soler,who told us what happened. She said it happened very fast and we were scared that all the school could fall off.
The roof collapsed because it had been in poor condition for years and the city council was not providing funds to fix it.
While looking at the wires, they had to use a ladder, and when it wobbled, the boy at the top grabbed the lamp and then jumped, but seconds later the ceiling collapsed.
