Why is it important to study grammar?

As well as lexical wealth, the correct use of complex grammatical structures allows you to understand and convey ideas and thoughts better.

There are two grammar exercises in your PAU exam: exercises 4 and 5. In addition, accurate grammar will be assessed in writing exercises 2 (answer in your own words) and 6 (composition). 

EXERCISE 4: Multiple choice

In this exercise you will be given two sentences and you will have to fill in the gaps using one out of four options.

EXERCISE 5: Sentence Transformation (Rephrasing)

In this exercise you must transform two sentences. After each one, you are given the beginning of another sentence which must have the same meaning as the original. Thus, you have to give the same message by means of different grammatical structures.
