Within the offer of Botikazar, the Internationalization of Education plays a fundamental role. In this area, our school has been taking part in different international projects over the past fifteen years. Currently IES Botikazar BHI has developed and continues to work on different Erasmus +:
Cultural heritage and building cultural competence (KA229): it's a two-year project (18-20) for students. We take part with Austria, Holland, Poland and Sweden. We had a meeting in Bilbao in September, and another one in Poland in January. Unfortunately, the meetings of Holland and Brussels have been cancelled due to COVID-19.
Framework for Success: preparing youth for a competent life in a fast-changing Europe(KA229): it's a two-year project (19-21) for students. We take part with Norway, Holland, Denmark and Sweden. We had a meeting in Bilbao in September, and another one in Poland in January. Unfortunately, the meetings of Holland and Brussels have been cancelled due to COVID-19. Improvement of STEM competences in Upper Secondary School (KA1): activity for teachers. A total of four training periods have been planned (The Netherlands, Austria, Denmark and Sweden); three Training Courses (hosted by Future Classroom Lab) and one Teaching Activity (Norway). All the activities are based on the observation of good teaching practices in STEM. All participants have been selected based on a profile previously established according to the activity and through a clear, transparent and open selection process.
