Berlin - Mallorca partnership on an inclusion project.
To understand diversity and inclusion, it is important to have a good understanding of our society and how it has become the way it is today.
In that way Majorca has always been in continuous change. Many migrations have taken place, and with them new civilizations have lived on the island, from prehistoric civilizations, to romans, phoenicians, arabics, christians, etc… and the last one, tourists.
To illustrate that polyhedral society, some spots of special interest will be visited, and also field work will be done, asking the people living there, about their lives and families, in order to understand nowadays majorca society, adding a historic point of view, to have a wide understanding of how diversity takes place.
The final product done by the participants will be a map of majorca, done in a very free and creative way, showing the diversity of the island’s society, through space and time.

This is an arquitectonic itinerary in Palma. There are marked some of the main buildings in town.
Palma town has a lot of history, there are buildings from very different ages and times.
We are going to try to group them into ages/civilizations, and investigate in order to know who was behind their construction and who was the people living there at that time, what did they look like, what they did for living, where they come from, etc.
We need to collect all kind of information, take pictures, ask the people and investigate on the library.
