Sightseeing Zaragoza 2022

On 4th November, 3rd and 4th Year ESO BRIT students participated in a guided visit in English of downtown Zaragoza. The students started the visit in Plaza del Pilar and explored the Cathedral of el Pilar. They discovered a new flag inside the cathedral, Canada's flag. They beheld Goya's paintings and the guide told them about his biography as well as some data about the building.

After that, they observed the City Council's statues and La Lonja façade, which has some heads at the top of the building. They also observed statues of Goya's characters before being explained the evolution of architecture in La Seo and seeing fountains representing Hispanidad.

Finally, they went to Aljafería where they visited main rooms in an old palace including a bird in one of its columns, a mosque, an old prison, the Throne Room and staircase."
