ABOUT US: Useful information for future language assistants

Our language assistant during this school year is again Lydia Plaza, from Derby, United Kingdom. For the second time, as she applied, she will stay with us during this school year. You can get to know her through her fantastic introduction presentation for the students. She will also upload materials she created and used for the lessons in this site.

De nuevo, y por segundo año consecutivo, nuestra auxiliar de conversación durante este curso y será Lydia Plaza-Alsaed , que, procedente de Derby, Reino Unido. Lydia se incorpora de nuevo a nuestro centro dentro del Programa de Auxiliares que cada curso nos ofrece la Consejería de Educación desde el programa de Plurilingüismo, en este caso, dentro del cupo del Ministerio de Educación. Esperamos que su experiencia durante este curso sea tan productiva como el pasado.

Students first completed a co-operative learning style activity where they researched 'Surrealism' and a particular example of surrealism art, then shared their findings with the group.

Next, students created their own rendition of 'Henry Ford Hospital' by Frida Kahlo and the above example was show as inspiration.
