ONLINE STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM

We will keep our exchange program online in the 2024 academic year.
APPLICATION
Exchange students from partner universities must be nominated by the International Relations Coordination of their home institution.
Free-movers/visiting students do not need to be nominated by their home universities. Once accepted, and to secure a place at IESA, free-movers must pay the fee equivalent to the cost of the courses they enroll in.

General Requirements
Be an MBA or Master's student from a partner university
There is no minimum GPA requirement to participate in the exchange program, however, students must meet the standards set by their home institution to study abroad.
There is no language requirement beyond good communication skills in Spanish, in the case of non-native speakers we recommend at least a B2 level.
Application Documents (ONLINE EXCHANGE)
Once nominated, we will send an email to the students with the Application form and they will need to upload the following supporting documents:
Curriculum vitae (Résumé)
Copy of a valid passport/ Identity Card
Official transcript of records from home university (English or Spanish)
Practical Spanish skills. No official proof is required. The student's home university can send us a letter informing us that the student can take courses in this language.
List of courses the student will be enrolled in at IESA
Admissions decisions will be communicated via email approximately two weeks after the application deadline.

Visa
STUDENT VISA
To enter Venezuela the exchange students will need a Student Visa – TR-E. Applicants must present the documents personally, and the Consul may also request to hold a personal interview with the interested person.
Requirements:
Passport with a minimum validity of six (6) months at the moment of requesting the visa.
Visa application form duly filled out.
Health certificate.
Proof of economic support.
Letter of acceptance from the educational institute where the interested person is going to study.
Guarantee letter from the applicant specifying the intention of not earning money during the studies.
Two color photographs with a white background and a size of 3×4 cm. (passport size).
Copies of academic qualifications or transcripts.
Criminal record check.
Photocopy of the return trip ticket or itinerary.
Payment of consular fee.
Personal interview subject to the Consul's decision.
Validity
Permitted Length of Stay in Venezuela: One year from the date of visa issuance (multiple entries).
deadlines
The online exchange program offers international students the opportunity to participate in core or elective courses of our master's programs. We will be offering only courses in Spanish. Exchange students can take their written exams and other forms of assessment in English.
