course description
Welcome to the physical Education class! This course aims to promote physical activity, teamwork, and healthy habits among student from kindergarten to throughout the sixth grade.
Throughout the semester, student will participate in various sports, games, and fitness activities designed to develop their motor skills, coordination, and endurance. the class will also emphasize the importance of good sportsmanship, safety, and the enjoyment of staying active for a life time.

Motor skills development:
Students will improve fundamental motor skills such as running, jumping, throwing, and catching appropriate to their development level.
Knowledge of Fitness and Health:
Students will understand the basics of fitness, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices.
Teamwork and sportsmanship:
Students will learn the importance of working cooperatively with others, demonstrating good sportsmanship, and respecting teammates and opponents.
Physical Activity Engagement:
Students will participate actively through a variety of games and activates, fostering a positive attitude toward physical activity.
Safety awareness:
Students will recognize safety rules and practice to prevent injuries during physical activity.
Self-Improvement and Goal Sitting:
Students will set personal fitness goals and track their progress, encourage self- motivation and improvement.

Al Hikmah Physical Education: Safety Protocols and Guidelines
To ensure a safe, respectful, and effective learning environment during Physical Education (PE) classes, all students must adhere to the following guidelines:
General Safety Rules
All safety rules must be always followed during physical education classes.
Report all accidents or injuries to the instructor immediately, no matter how minor.
Students may not enter any physical education activity area without permission.
Dress Code
Elementary students must wear the approved Al Hikmah PE uniform and sneakers to every class.
Jewelry that may cause injury to self or others is not permitted during PE activities.
Health & Participation
A parent note is required to excuse or restrict a student’s participation; this is valid for up to two PE classes.
For participation modifications beyond two classes, a doctor’s note is required.
Behavior Expectations
Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. This includes:
Physical aggression
Verbal or emotional harm
Actions that endanger others' safety
Prohibited Items
Glass containers are strictly prohibited in all PE areas.
Food or drink, except water, is not allowed in any physical education space.
Electronic devices are not permitted in the PE classroom or gym at any time.
Adhering to these guidelines ensures a safe, respectful, and enjoyable PE experience for everyone.

Students are required to complete a written assignment in addition to either a formal examination or a verbal assessment. All evaluations must be conducted in person.
