Parlay 'RoundTable' "is a written discussion activity that uses secret identities, peer feedback, and data visualizations to take blended learning to a new level." Watch the video for a detailed overview that is student-facing and then visit the site to explore more. Allow yourself at least 30 minutes to browse the demos and videos. Parlay is offering free upgrades during the lockdown. Their support team is also very responsive.
Seeing students' faces and hearing their voices is a powerful way to stay connected. Even if students can't meet online at the same time, you can use Flipgrid to keep that 'face' element alive. Students can have ongoing discussions with recorded responses. This app can be used in many ways from quick check-ins to book clubs.
