IDEO U's Community of Practice is a 5 month pilot program, running from September 2018 through January 2019.
It brings together IDEO U Alumni who are looking to actively advance on their path of creative growth with the support of a vibrant, diverse and collaborative community.
We have assembled a group of motivated and action-oriented IDEO U Alumni to inspire you to think differently, challenge you to take risks, and provide council and thought partnership as you wrestle with gnarly problems.
The Home Team is your core, intimate group of accountability partners throughout this course experience. You will check in every other week with your home team, set goals for yourself, and ensure that everyone in your home team is successful in achieving their individual goals for this experience, together.
During the program, you will be given the opportunity to coach a course, alongside a team of other peers from the Community of Practice. We will have coaching opportunities in our September, November, and January course runs.
Assemblies are moments for our entire community to come together. These virtual sessions will include skillshares from the community and masterclass sessions from IDEO.
Slack is the tool our community uses to communicate with each other. It is the way to connect with others exploring similar questions, organize subcommunities around common interests, and easily share resources.
Zoom:
All Assemblies and Home Team meetings will be held on Zoom, a video conferencing service.
Community members are welcome to schedule virtual (or in-person) meetups with other members, using our Zoom video conferencing system.
