In the first cycle of computer literacy, one of my responsibilities as a student was to write a weekly web review. To write a web review, I had to find a useful and somewhat unknown website, and reflect on my experience with it. I think this assignment was beneficial to my learning for several reasons. First, since the reviews were due weekly, I learned how to consistently create quality work over a long period of time, while dealing with deadlines. Also, my research/writing skills improved. Because the project entailed a new website each week, I learned to find websites that were interesting and useful to my learning. Creating a new web review each week was sometimes challenging, but the work was definitely worth the payoff of becoming a better writer and student.
