ICS Summer Program is Committed to Serving the Community
The ICS Summer Program connects ICS with the greater Shatin Community. The program offers meaningful and quality activities to both ICS and non-ICS students in a caring Christian environment during the school summer holiday. We receive massive enrollment and positive feedback of the program from the students and parents every year.
How does the ICS Summer Program draw alumni back to the school?
Through serving the needs of the community with a love based education the Summer Program has the side benefit of creating goodwill in the community. It also draws alumni back to the school, year after year, reinforcing the long term links we wish to maintain with our former students and giving them an opportunity to share the lessons and values they learnt while in ICS. The Summer Program also provides working experience for the ICS alumni. It helps them to identify their interest and thus to pursue education as their career. Many alumni have decided to study education as a result of teaching in the summer programs.
What are the courses offered by the ICS Summer Program?
The courses offered by the ICS Summer Program are interest courses aiming to improve skills, such as English communication, of the participants. The courses have no association with the ICS curriculum.
