At Izard County STEM, fans at games often struggle to tell who’s who, especially in football, where helmets make it hard to recognize players. This makes it tough for families and community members to connect with the athletes and fully enjoy the game. To fix that, Braxton McCandlis and Payton Thompson created QR code sports roster posters that let spectators quickly scan and see updated player names and numbers on their phones. It’s an easy way to turn confused spectators into informed, excited supporters.
