Objectives of the course
Foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in students.
Learn how to design innovative, student-centered activities, using technology effectively.
Create engaging learning scenarios that promote active, experiential learning, and enhance your capacity for assessing and evaluating them.
Encourage collaboration, teamwork, and inquiry-based learning.
Effectively evaluate student progress, facilitating a dynamic and inclusive approach to STEM teaching and learning.
In the vibrant setting of Brussels, our group of STEM educators embarked on an unprecedented professional development journey. The course objectives were as ambitious as they were essential: to foster students' creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. We learned to design student-centered activities that not only used technology effectively but also promoted active, experiential learning. The course was a unique opportunity to collaborate, work in teams, and delve into inquiry-based learning, all while placing special emphasis on effectively assessing students' progress, fundamental for a dynamic and inclusive STEM teaching approach.
