BRUSSELS MOBILITY

Future Classroom Lab workshops Supporting STEM Educators: Innovative Approaches to Teaching and Learning

Neus Ferrer, Miquel Josep Salom, M. Lluïsa Quetgles

Objectives of the course

In the vibrant setting of Brussels, our group of STEM educators embarked on an unprecedented professional development journey. The course objectives were as ambitious as they were essential: to foster students' creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. We learned to design student-centered activities that not only used technology effectively but also promoted active, experiential learning. The course was a unique opportunity to collaborate, work in teams, and delve into inquiry-based learning, all while placing special emphasis on effectively assessing students' progress, fundamental for a dynamic and inclusive STEM teaching approach.
