INTRO:
Aside from providing knowledge and skills, even more important is the focus on morality and life education as well as the nurturing of cultured qualities.
Throughout his life, Venerable Master Hsing Yun has placed great importance on education, and is committed to actualizing education of the Three Acts of Goodness (TAG): Do good deeds, say good words, and think good thoughts. He hopes that children can learn how to be grateful, cherish their blessings, and be kind and compassionate from an early age. In this way, they can establish a proper outlook on life that is optimistic, enterprising, respectful, and helpful.
Our children are the future leaders of the nation and our hope for the future. We sincerely invite anyone who is interested in promoting life education to join our team and protect the future of our children.
STUDENT AGE GROUPS: 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13-15
We should vow to educate our children, so that they may become the future leaders of society.

HOW DO I BECOME A TAG TEACHER?
Fill-out the volunteer application so we can get to know you: Volunteer Form
Join the TAG School Team and become a teacher assistant to gain volunteering and education experience.
Register for the FoGuang HuB Buddhism Class to have a basic understanding of Buddhist teachings: Registration and more details
After completing at least a semester of TAG School volunteer TA and the Core Teachings classes, you will be certified as a TAG Teacher after passing a final interview. You will then shoulder the mission of life education!
EDUCATIONAL MISSION OF THE TAG TEACHER
Become a qualified TAG teacher for our TAG School and nurture the life education and character building of our children.
In the future, there will be opportunities to promote TAG Education and meditation courses in various school settings.
It is the mission of senior teachers to compile TAG materials suitable for local residents!
Q: I’m unfamiliar with Buddhist teachings and do not have a professional educational background, can I still register?
A: As long as you are willing to devote yourself, after at least one semester of being a TA in the TAG School as well as study in the Core Teachings class, you will have a good foundation to become a TAG Teacher. Hurry and register!
Q: If my schedule doesn’t allow me to come help at the TAG School as a TA, can I still register?
A: We welcome you to register for other volunteer opportunities according to your skills and interests as well as for the Buddhism class. Through serving as a volunteer and studying in classes you will get to know the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Order as well as Hsi Lai Temple.
If you have an professional background in education, we especially welcome you to register and also become one of our volunteers.
All volunteer staff have the opportunity to accumulate volunteer hours
for The President's Volunteer Service Award!
We will have a Information Day (TBA). We will go over general guidelines and answer any questions you may have.
