Description:
Sound and Communication Technicians install low voltage electronic and control systems. Curriculum includes basic electronic theory but will specialize in areas such as security cameras and alarm systems.
Length of Training:
The Sound & Telecommunications apprenticeship program consists of 3 years of classroom-related study and 4,800 hours paid on-the-job training.
Requirements During Training: Classes
Each apprentice will attend a minimum of 180 hours of classroom training each curriculum year.. The classes are held at the IEETC facility located at:
